On a personal note: july 14th
I want to tell my husband Marcos Andres Peres how much I love you. Thank you for standing with me in good and bad.
For the next 10 weeks my life will be put on hold while I go through treatment for breast cancer. My story is much like a lot others women, I have not had a mammogram in the last several years. I'm asking all of you who have not had one in the last year to please do so. (this includes my female family members too)
I thank all my family and friends for all the support and love.
I do have one request, please give me some privacy and not a lot of questions. As I have more info on my status, either Mark or Trisha Lurtz Howard will keep you posted.
July 22:
Today's update I saw the surgeon yesterday unfortunately they found two more spots I have to have biopsy. This won't happen until August 5th but in the meantime I get to go see the medical oncologist and the radiation oncologist which is the same one my mom had.
I will try to keep everyone post on my status. I thank all of you for your support and love.
Saturday, August 8th, 10-5 - FRIEND DAY: You and your friends are only $5.00 each. This a great way to check out what we are all about and make greeting cards, scrapbook, sew, any craft you desire using the Craftin' Cow's many stamps, punches, etc. Please remember to bring your paper, glue, ink and ink cleaner. LOTS OF FUN!
This event is included for yearly and monthly members.
Saturday, August 15th, 9-9 - P J PARTY: Dress in your PJs if you wish. Classses, Raffles and more! Food will be pot luck, so make your favorite dish to share. Check out our FaceBook group for what everyone is bringing. Fee for the day is $12.00 each, or use your punch card, monthly or yearly membership to attend. Don't miss it!
Saturday, August 29th, 10-7 - COW CUT CLUB DAY: Bring in your Cricut or any other cutting machine. Share ideas with other crafters and obtain different ways to create projects and utilize your cricut from all of our crafters. $12.00 each, or use your punch card, monthly or yearly membership to attend. A day of learning and fun!

Note to My Friends
Dear Friends,
Sorry the delay in posting to my blog. As some of you may know in April I lost my mother-in-law Jean Peters. I would like to thank everyone for their kindness and cards.
Earlier that month my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. She was undergoing radiation treatments that my daughter Trisha and I were taking her to.
On June 1st she fell at home and broke her hip/leg before the end of her treatments. After her surgery she went to a rehab facility. She did finish up radiation treatments in July.
The end of August she had cardiac failure while in the ER at Lee Health Park (Thank God). The ER team was unbelievable.
As of today she is in a rehab Shell Point.
Again I would like to thank all of you for understanding the “Craftin’ Cow” being closed so I could spend time with my mom. And to those of you who came to my rescue, words could not begin to thank you.
